Delete your Ember account

This page explains how to delete your account for Ember: Adventure Packing & Split (package com.embers.embers).

How to request account deletion

Choose one of the two options below. Both permanently delete your Ember account.

Option A — Delete in the Ember app (fastest)

  1. Open the Ember app and sign in with the account you want deleted.
  2. Go to My profile (profile / settings).
  3. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Confirm deletion. This cannot be undone.

Option B — Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow (for example, you no longer have access to the device), send a deletion request from the email address on your Ember account.

  1. Fill in the form below (or email us directly).
  2. Send the message to [email protected] with subject Ember account deletion request.
  3. Include the email address registered to your Ember account so we can verify ownership.
  4. We typically process verified requests within 7 business days (GMT+8). We may ask a short follow-up question to confirm identity.

What is deleted

When your Ember account is deleted, we remove:

  • Your account and authentication identifiers
  • Profile information (display name, avatar, preferences, invite/referral data)
  • Your Embers balance and related rewards records tied to your account
  • Adventures (events) you organize
  • Records tied to your participation as implemented by the service (for example RSVPs, packing items, expenses, and notifications associated with your user)
  • Push notification tokens and session data for your account

What may be kept

  • Shared adventures you only joined may continue for other members without you. Your membership is removed; the event and other people’s content can remain.
  • Provider backups: limited copies may remain temporarily in infrastructure backups operated by our service providers (for example database backups). These are not used for active product features and are overwritten on the normal backup rotation cycle, typically within 30 days.
  • Legal retention: we may keep information longer when required to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or comply with law.
